　　Gear Oil is an Extreme Pressure oil with specific additives to ensure perfect lubrication of hypoid gears under heavy load; high relative sliding velocity between the teeth on a continuous or shock basis and high operating temperatures.

　　It is recommended for lubricating hypoid gear differentials under heavy loads. It can also be used for gearboxes and steering-boxes on cars and trucks, for gearboxes, final drive and power-take-off units on off-road vehicles and tractors.

　　Its application can be extended to all types of enclosed gear drives for which an EP type lubricant is recommended.

　　Advantages

　　Anti-wear characteristics reduce teeth and gear wear to a minimum, thereby conserving the kinematic mating of the drive.

　　High resistance to oxidation at high operating temperatures; the oil can thus be kept for a long time in the drive unit for those intervals recommended by the manufacturer.

　　Efficient protection of the moving parts against rust, even in the presence of moisture.

　　Antifoam properties ensure a constant circulation of the oil and therefore a uniform lubricating film on the moving parts.

　　Great perseverance in maintaining the lubricating film on the surface of the gear teeth so that any grinding damage is avoided upon starting under load.
